Title: Cubase LE: File size?
Post by: THE NIZ BIAAAAACH! on May 14, 2006, 04:52:13 PM
Does cubase le work like wavelab, in that it has two gig limits?  If so, how do you set it to autosplit files and keep recording?

I am not a cubase user, but I know that Samplitude SE does not have this issue.

Samp. SE is only 49 bucks, and is a new release. I bought Samplitude pro v8 and sequoia and love them both.

LE is limited to 2gb filesizes.

However, that's 4 hours of a mono track at 48kHz, and 2 hours at 96kHz.  Just record individual mono tracks instead of stereo.

Maybe SX4 will have auto-split features.
