Hello,
How does Sennheiser number the pins on their mics that have a 3-pin Lemo mini-XLR?
The pins are in a triangle with one angle 'up', one to the lower left and one to the lower right.
Any ideas on the numbering?
Kind regards,
Udo

Nobody?

Bump.
Nobody with this info?
The Lemo's are so small there is no numbering.

Why not call sennhieser ?? The lemo connector is used for wireless belt packs the wiring could be anything. There is no standard for Lemo connectors. You have to go by wire color code. Not by pin configuration unless you know what wireless packs these mics were used with.

The lemo's, when attached to the mic, do not show the wiring colors.
I do know what color does what and what color goes where (pin number).
I just don't know how the numbering is.
I did email Sennheiser, maybe I'll just have to wait.

I take it your interfacing this connector with a female connector? if so and you know what color is what and what pin it goes into simply plug the female connector into the male connector and open up the male and do a simple continuity test to make sure you have the correct pin and make a diagram :) simple

thats a good idea, which was what I was going to recommend by the time i got to the bottom of the post, easy with a volt/ohm meter..I did that when I made new cables for my MD421's years back.

Lemo's are expensive and hard to open, etc?
But I got the info! :D

Solder side:
Top is 1
Right is 3
Left is 2.

glad you got it straight!!! ;D

Now I can go ahead with the 3-wire setup if the mics come in sometime.
Currently I am busy with the 2-wire impedance buffer.
