Title: JDisk Maker
Post by: china_rider on June 08, 2006, 02:02:30 AM
Ok... Searched for a while for a thread on who would be a good jDisk/bar maker but did not find anything that specifcally applied to me.  I currently have a basic manfrotto stand with a shure a27 vert bar(and Sabrasom mouts) which I love for my cards/hypers.  Now that I have an R4 and AKG 62s I would love to find a setup where I can run the set of omnis on the same stand jDisk style. (along with the dina hypers)  Anyone have any ideas of how this could all work togeather?  I'm not the most creative person in the world but do have a dremel.   :P Woudl love to try the combination for the az portion of SCI this tour.

Any Ideas?

Lots of folks hate Len Moskiwitz, but he does sell a jecklin disk. look at: http://core-sound.com/jecklin/1.php

You could always clamp your hypers just below the disk.

That disk is overpriced and can be made at a fraction of the cost. I know..I own an original jecklin disc. No difference between my homemade one and the one I purchased.
