Title: spdif line in microtrack no level adjustinput monitoring w sd-20 preamp using sp

got a question,  using a denecke sd 20 pre amp with a spdif out to my microtrack 24/96, microtrack does not have input monitoring/level adjust, only the gain on preamp. is this right?  i have input monitoring on.  it worked well this past weekend, but a little sketch with out monitoring/level ability! any ideas, thoughts?

When running digi-in to the Microtrack, one controls the levels on the preamp and/or ADC, in your case the AD-20.  So you'll use one device to visually monitor levels (MicroTrack) and another device to control the recording levels (AD-20 and its gain knobs).
