I stayed up way past my bedtime last night to bid on a Sony ECM 989 M-S stereo mic...which is from the mid 1980's and was pretty high end (in Sony land any way).  Would have been a great backup mic.  I see these from time to time selling in the $3-400 range.  Bidding on this (w/30min left) was $26.  I bid right at the last minute and kept my status right until 15 seconds when I was outbid by $2.50.
