Title: MT track time?
Post by: napa on July 06, 2006, 08:14:47 AM
Ok, when I'm recording in 24 bit, the MT it gives you Media time and Track time. When it comes to track time, when that time is up, does the MT seamlessly go to the next track or save and then load a new file? Basicly does do you lose any audio in that time?

It leaves a 3-5 second gap, with the latest firmware. I start a new file during a song break when this is going to happen.

It saves and starts a new file.

I can't remember which firmware started this. I think it 1.3.3.

Before that it was totally manual.

Indeed. Also 2GB is 2.000.000.000 bytes according to M-Audio's developers.
The 2GB bugs have been widely communicated to M-Audio but some wake-up emails with the bugs explained could help?
(the 2GB gap-bug is OLD... This one really needs a fix.)

So if I just let run out it put a 3-5 gap and also restart a file with 1.333 whatever it is firmware. Or of course do it manuel.
