Title: iRiver Configuration Help
Post by: waltflanagansdog on July 15, 2006, 09:50:47 PM
I read and went through WhatAboutBob's thread and it was very helpful.  Got Rockbox loaded and all.

I need someone to post with their setting configurations that havew worked.  The other thread only gives the ranges.

Thanks

Mike

I'm not sure what settings you need help on as it's all pretty straightforward.
There's a rockbox pdf manual you can download (also work in progress).

For specific questions, just ask here or in the rockbox forum.
If you play around with it for 10 minutes I'm sure you'lll have everything figured out ;)

not yet Mike.  I am having a really hard time deciding between the iRiver and the Edirol R09.

Get both!  ;D

I got an H340 and soon to to have the R-09. Then you have a back-up (if you have external mics), the extra features of the iRiver,  and I just read some tale of using the 340 as a USB host? Haven't tested this yet though... I got my H340 on e-bay for about $250...

with regards to the settings, seems like it would depend on external mics, what you are recording, etc....

I've been really happy with my $150 ebay H120.  It's like night and day compared to the hell that was the microtrack.  That R-9 looks sweet too, but I wouldn't trade this iRiver for one!  I Luvs it.
