Title: wavmerge help
Post by: ts on July 18, 2006, 01:22:42 PM
Trying to join 2 wavs and using wavmerge but wavs won't open. I aleady have them named according to etree standards. sci2006-07-14d2t04 and sci2006-07-14d2t05, but they need to be joined. Do I need to rename them or try another program?

thanks, tony

I don't know, but the only way I have ever been able to merge a wav is by burning it to CD, then using EAC and extracting the range or files that I want to be merged.  I know that is rediculous, but it works.

I don't have an url handy, but if google "addawav" you'll come up with free shareware called, conveniently, Add-A-Wave...

names shouldn't matter.   don't go to file > open.  go to edit > add wave.  add first track > repeat.  then go to edit > create wave.  that'll  merge them.
