In case anyone hasnt seen this...man, this looks fantastic...

he wall diffusors are basically a primitive root diffusor, folded into 2D. there are 138646 "tines" distributed around the room, no two the same length.
they are fabricated from 4' x 8' x 1" MDF on a Cosmac horizontal mill. 1532 boards were cut from 1532 individual NC programs. it took 3-1/2 45' semi's to deliver over 90 tons of raw MDF. after fabrication there's more then 40 tons of MDF on the walls.
the ceiling is also a PRD, some 7' high, faced with RPG Skylines.
the big monitors are ATC150's. the mid-fields are Genelec 8050's. the subs are 2 x Genelec 7070. there are many, many choices of near-fields.
the ambience starts at about 30dB down from the direct sound. the RT60 is about 1/4 second, and sounds somewhat consistent above 250Hz and 4kHz.

the chair is herman miller

I'm sitting in the black version right now. One of the best chairs made hands down.

As am I... Though I used to have the high backed version which was a little nicer. :-\
-
way too much work for that room and I find it really had to believe there is not once piece the same size as another.
We have those chairs as well, but I hate how they wear out your pocket if you keep your wallet on you.

Wallets in the back pocket cause back problems. I keep mine in my front pocket these days.

What am I missing here...how could it take 3 1/2 semis to move the amount of wood shown in that picture?
-
You'd really feel like a dick if, after all that work, it still didn't sound right...

I would think that after all that ca$h and time, your brain would override/rationalize any thoughts of.. "hmm does it sound ok?"

And to top it off, it's wired with Canare star-quad. :P

Yeah, but he has The RevelationAC cord (http://virtualdynamics.ca/products/REV/PWR) , uses The Clever Little Clock (http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina41.htm) as well as Audiophile Outlet covers (http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina44.htm)..this of course mitigates any bad effects caused by using star quad wire. :P

cause each one was cut from an individual virgin growth rainforest tree. also the stuffing in the chair is a secret blend of spotted owl chick down and wolf pup muzzle fur. It is covered with baby seal skin.
Wheres the beer fridge and cup holder. and no listening room would be complete without a pinup of some hottie and some random cycle parts lyin around.

The Clever Little Clock...it's an EMI/RFI stabilizer. It likely works off of an electomagnetic field or possibly some sort of infrared device. It's about controlling the flow of Electrons, which will improve both audio and video signals. The clock has absolutely nothing to do with the product, other than providing a cheap box to put the transmitter in. We use Quantum Resonance Technology products to control EMI/RFI in our systems. You plug the Symphony Pro in and turn it on...that's it. I've had friends in the Pro Audio business take the it apart and tell me the product is a complete scam...only to eat those words after a quick demonstration at my house.
The Audiophile Outlet is also for real. EMI shielding and Resonance control are serious issues to consider with a/c. I just replaced a skanky wall outlet with an FIM High Performance wall outlet. I'm also going to install one of FIM's outlet covers as well. You'll be buying a set before you know it, Teddy.

I just bought a true-black Aeron
Best investment that I've made in my behind since the elliptical machine. ;D
All the wooden Bike needs is wings and the Wright Brother's ghost would come visiting.
I'll bet the wood takes the vibration right out of the V-Twin

Um, no. I'm looking at two right now that are *exactly* the same length.
