hey all-
I patched out of a set of these at bruce hornsby on 7/14 in portland ;D
although after a google search, I found out exactly nothing about them. the person who I patched out said they were extremely rare and not made anymore. they were with active cables if I recall correctly and they went straight into a modded d8. any ideas on pickup pattern or other info.
the tapes sound nice, but there is a weaksause level drop for a few songs in the second set, probably user error.

The MK4 is a capsule from Schoeps. Very popular.

The closest thing I can thing of from Neumann that may be similar is the KM140 with active cables.

might be the KMF 4 from the early 1980's?

also in this picture front and center, looks like an active cable mic
