Title: New external HD, now files won't open in SF 7.0, solved...

So I bought an external HD for the 24bit files. Seems to be running fine.

I go to open a file in SF7.0 and I get "an error occured reading the file. make sure you have read access to the file /folder and that it is not corrupted."


wtf? I was able to open then fine before. If it isn't one thing it's something else..

any help??? kinda need sf to resample and dither...

try re-copying the entire file to your external....might have been a copy error on the way over

I solved my issue.

I used a program to combine some files. addawav. My tascam was set to 1.5G. so it starts a new file. I was doing it with the 24bit files. When it clearly says " This program is best used with 16bit colour" Duh...
