Title: iRiver h120 Recording Question
Post by: waltflanagansdog on July 27, 2006, 09:17:14 AM
Pretty sure this will get moved.  I have no clue which forum to use anymore, but...

Last night I recorded my first show with my new h120.  At a couple points during the recording I looked down and there were no levels.  Also the back light came on a couple times on it's own...which I am assuming is the clipping light?

The recording came out fine, no glitches, nothing.  Just curious about the levels disappearing.  Is there a setting I need to change.

Thanks.

No worry about that, "The Peak Meter does not operate while the hard drive is being written to (~10-15 seconds every ~3 mins)" quoted from here, iriver H1xx FAQ http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=64277.0

Thanks!  I was just worried that something may arise down the road.

The clip light will come on even for tiny instances of clipping (I think there's a setting for this), like in the milliseconds, where it won't be noticeable when you listen.
