this was shot at Newby's. The greatest taper in the Dirty South was a little f*cked up and decided that this would be the best way to run.

before the show, mic cables too tangled, wasn't in good frame of mind after panic, so just said f-it

Personally it was just refreshing to see that the priorities were in order. The full beer was well out of range during the battle with the cables.

Once you get good at it it is truly the best way to wind, but I admit I have been lax myslef and have just gone back to the over > over method. The video reminded me of how much better over > under is especially for long lengths.

I learned how to do it back in the day working at a theatre and with live sound companies. From what I seem to remember you're probably one of those guys that's coiled a 300' 48 channel snake and know that there really isn'y any other way to make it happen. At all. I haven't used this method in years, but I'm really disappointed that I let myself blow 3:30 of the work day looking at a guy wraping cable.
