Micheal Bishop from Telarc is using one. he is the only guy I know that uses them.  http://www.telarc.com/gscripts/title.asp?gsku=1022&mscssid=K68M47KRD7178LU19WNDFFXX9SM7F5N9 that vocal chain was recorded using the solution D.

I would never use one of them, because you have to use the proprietary A to D and preamp that is built into the mic(part of the fun for me is matching preamps and mics). Plus the expense....

Solution DOA.

it's an interesting concept, not new remember those beyerdynamics 20 bit mics? Audiotron Oslo used to carry the line, but never sold any of them. When the shop closed they went for 1000 $ for a pair, which is nice.

I would love to see a digital stereo microphone, i like the idea of mic>recorder for 2 track recording, a nice small rig. ;D
