Title: Reduse bass in Audacity
Post by: asmusu2 on August 21, 2006, 09:41:51 AM
Hi,

I use Audacity to copy my lp's and now also my recordings to more than one track.

Does anyone know if it is possible to reduse the bass too in that program?

Hope someone can help.

Best wishes

I have recordet Runrig, but I think the bass is to big in some parts.

I have uploadet some of the audio to a mp3 file here http://www.asmusu2.dk/sa/runrig.mp3

Hope someone can help me.

Or tell me if it is not the bass there are to much of.

Best wishes

Sounds okay to me, but of course I don't know how the original LP sounds as a comparison.  One problem, though, not due to the original recording:  sounds and looks like the recording clips at least a few times between 2:30 and 2:43.  I'd re-transfer and re-set the levels so the recording doesn't clip.
