I bought the 1A's and liked the sound of them, but they couldn't handle the low end SPL's of PA recording, so I contacted Jon, the guy that makes them. He had just switched over to the 1O's at that time and told me to send the 1A's back and he's send me the 1O's! Good customer service, I'd say!

Please do let us know how the 1C's sound.

as soon as the kits for the c's is off 'backorder, i'l be ordering a pair. I hope to use them for acoustic guitar and misc home studio work.
As I see it, It's not too much to pay for an experiment...

Oh, and I'll hapily provide what feedback I can.

I got a pair of MSH-1O's last week and am looking foward to giving them a whirl at Grace Potter on Thursday.  I'm not too much of a gear slut so I'm going to run my regular full setup and then run the new omni's off the same stand into an ART Phantom II > MD (and then an analog transfer to boot).  Less than ideal setup and at a smaller indoor venue so I'm not expecting the world from them, but looking foward to playing with them none the less.  Will definately put the SMK-H8K source on the archive, if the MSH-1O turns out decent I'll upload it as well and post a link.

I just got my pair of MSH-1O's today after sending back the 1A's. I find Jon, the guy that makes the microphones, to be very easy to deal with and very customer focused. I have high hopes for the 1O's. One thing I noticed right away is that the sensitivity of the 1O's is higher than the 1A's. This could be a good thing.

Please let us know how the 1O's work in a small club recording a PA system. The 1A's couldn't deal well with the high SPL bass of Cracker in a theater, but worked fine for acoustic music through a PA system. I'm hoping that the 1O's fair better.

Maybe it's time for a MSH-1O thread?
