FYI:
Last night I taped a show and thanks to a loud clapper >:( I realized the left and right channels of the recording were swapped.
I did some testing of the JB3 just now, and it appears the level monitors on the JB3 swap occasionally. Sometimes they show the correct channel, and sometimes they show the opposite channel. Last night I only checked the monitors on the JB3, so I didn't realize I was running my mics reversed. I knew the JB3 monitors were bad, but I assumed they showed the correct channels. It appears I was wrong.

This is a common JB3 bug. If you have the unit on record-pause for 3-4 minutes, your level meters swap sides.

I never paused the recording. Last night and when I was testing today each test was done off of a fresh reboot of the JB3.

Either way it is an easy fix in post. I never realized it was a common bug. I thought that I might have just been hooking my mics up reversed occasionally. I'll pay more attention to it now.
Dave, did you have to run the rats?
-
Yes it is an easy fix in post, just a little annoying.
I ran the rats both nights. It seemed like there was more of a breeze Friday night. I've only listened to ~40min so far, but so far I haven't heard any wind in Friday's set yet even though I could see the rats' "fur" twisting around in the breeze. ;D
+T for the rats.

Back at you for field testing them.
