Title: Sonosax MiniR82 is out

Looks like the long awaited Mini R82 is finally out.  This is the 8 track version.  The 2 track version will be the Mini R2.
I would be interested to hear some reports about this unit (very expensive!):

There will be no 2 ch version, Larry. Confirmed that a while back. They feel that the market is full of budget minded, 2 channel devices, and that they couldnt compete.

According to the french manual:

this translates to:

I was told that it will also autosplit at 1GB (from Sonosax tech to dealer here in US).

Has anyone heard it and been impressed?
