Title: wireless body mic?
Post by: willndmb on September 21, 2006, 09:38:53 AM
i work at a place where we do talks to people (no music, singing - 100% talking)
and there is a dividing wall between the talker/1st group and 2nd group of people
the owner is looking for a wireless mic that can be worn so the 2nd group can also hear whats being said

he had the typical cheap FM Radio Shack version and of course it cut out, didn't get reception, had static

i am thinking he needs some sort of UHF one  ???
anyone else have opinions or ideas on the best way to get this done, reasonable priced - like under 300?
thanks

ps they have a stereo to hook ____ to and there are speakers built into the roof
so all they need is a transmiter with mic and reciever

look for used lectrosonics 185/187 on ebay , its not uhf bit it  is aworking horse , beside that the reciever have lin out as well
in 500$ range you can find lectrosnics 190 or 195  or new sennheiser ev 100 g-2
all the systems could csept lavalier or dynamic microphone , if you going to use condenser you will need 48 v ph adapter in the midle
