Title: Audacity sample rate help
Post by: carlbeck on September 22, 2006, 10:26:55 AM
I am having a problem getting a 44.1 sample rate with Audacity. I can convert my 24 bit source to 16 bit but the sample rate stays at my original recording rate of 48. I have set the high quality dither to triangle & save the wav but it still shows as 48. What am I missing here?

This might help:  http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=71191.0

The short answer:  when exporting, Audacity will use the SRC selection from Preferences and convert the entire project to the Project Rate in the bottom left corner.

Thanks, got it! I wasn't changing the box in the lower left corner.
