Title: Adaptaplug cable in Toronto????
Post by: Wiggle on September 24, 2006, 02:45:05 PM
Radio Shack is now 'The Source at Circuit City' around here. Ridiculous name aside, it seems they don't carry the female-to-female adaptaplug cable that I need to get my freshly-modded UA5 up and running. The three I went to all had the 'B' and 'M' tips.... but no cable.  ???

Any Canadian/Toronto tapers have an idea as to where else I can look to find one before I'm forced to suck it up and order from Ratty Shack online?

Poorlyconditioned was nice enough to help me out and I should be ready to roll by Tuesday. But here's the thing... a friend of mine has just given me his ticket to see Yo La Tengo on Monday night and I'm one cable away from running a non-laptop rig (C4s > BM2P+ UA-5 > iRiver). I could run my laptop rig one last time but I'm kind of jazzed about the new gear too, you know?

So, does anyone local have a DVD batt > UA5 cable that I could borrow for Monday night? I'll come to you to pick it up and I'll drop it off personally (or via Expresspost) on Tuesday.
