Title: I just bought a USED presonus firebox and it came w/out SOFTWARE

It was supposed to come with CUBASE but it arrived without it (or anything else!?!?).

I've filed a complaint with instrument exchange and am waiting to hear back.... but does anyone know/have Cubase light that I can get?  I'm recording on a macbook pro and already have garage band- but I'd rather something with a little more control....


any suggestions?

I own logic 6 and peak le, but I have to say I still use audacity from time to time. I really like it. And you can download it fro free ...

Are you sure Cubase LE even works with the MacTels?  I have a Firebox and the Cubase Installer that came with it wouldn't even work on my iBook G4 due to an incompatibility with os 10.3, although I was able to google up a hack that allowed it to install.  I still much prefer Sound Studio for 2 track recording though.  Audacity doesn't seem to recognize my firebox.   >:(
