Title: Recovering lost data from an R4?
Post by: dreyfuss on October 06, 2006, 07:51:00 PM
I recently lost some data on my R4, I recorded my bands rehearsal and forgot to turn the R4 off afterwards, as a result I lost that data, I'm just wondering if there is a way to get it back, if not it's no big deal.

Thanks for the help
Steve

Some people claim you can recover "zero length" files.  Not sure how, but it may be possible.

If this is important data, *do not* format or write any data at all to the drive until you check recovery options!

I've recovered zero length files off of other recorders.  You could try running chkdsk.
