Hi everyone:
Has anyone had experience in taping with these mics. By the way, I'm kinda new to technical side of taping. Hence, my current rig includes the following equipment:
MM-HLSC - 3 (Sennheiser caps) > MM-EBM-1 (bass roll off filter) > MZ-RH910
Both the mics and the bass roll off filter end with a stereo mini jack. How does one connect and power the Sennheiser MKE-2, which ends with an XLR jack? Should I buy a mic preamp, which can power mics with an XLR cable and buy myself an output cable for the mic preamp, which ends with a stereo mini jack? Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
P.S. I mostly tape loud PA music (metal, alternative rock). By the way, can the abovementioned capsules handle high SPL?

MKE-2 and XLR? So K6 system? Or?
XLR means it needs phantom power if no battery is in the plug/cable to power the MKE-2.
I guess a 9V battery is enough, together with a capacitor and a resistor.

Sorry. I'm kinda dumb on the technical side of taping:) What I meant is that the Sennheiser MKE-2 has a 3-pin XLR connector. Hence, how do I connect both of these mics to my bass roll off filter?

To connect Sennheiser MKE-2 mics (with an XLR plug on the end) to your current battery box, you have 2 easy options:
1) Buy/build an adaptor cable (dual XLR connectors > mini-plug cable)
2) Put a mini-plug on the end of your Sennheiser MKE-2 microphones, or have someone else do it.
