Hi all -
Sorry to ask what I KNOW has been discussed in the monster R09 threads, but bcause I didn't follow them "in real time" and am in fact going back to try and find this information I am failing miserably .... (In fact, Is there any chance of a sticky which includes answers to these Qs, like the JB3 and iRiver FAQs?)
1. Which is the 4g card people have used successfully? What brand/speed?
2. Which firmware is required?
3. How do you format the card if the R09 won't read it?
4. What happens if/when the file runs over 2g?
5. If a file can't be read because of a header issue, how do you fix it?
As I say, I KNOW I've seen discussion of all these points in the "release" threads, but with so much discussion it's kind of hard to find (and figure out) the actual answers!!

Uh, how about reading the R-09 FAQ -- it's only the very FIRST post in this recording forum and answers all these questions. Guess that placement isn't obvious enough eh? :)

Man, am I a dumbass. SO sorry! I didn't even SEE the damn thing!!! Somehow in my mind I see "JB3 - FAQ - start here!" and THAT is by default the top thread. Would help to actually LOOK at it instead of assume, yanno?
Boy am I embarassed.....
