looks like most issues w/ 2.00 have been ironed out
Cool new feature
changed - 7-Series can now see another 722 or 744T HDD via -1394 and use it as an EXHDD
http://www.sounddevices.com/download/
Been using 2.00 since it came out w/ no issues.

yup, me too, lost everything going from 1.x > 2.00 but 2.00 to 2.03 was all good except i had to reset the time

I just upgraded from 1.74 to 2.03 (I did not do 2.00) and all my settings were unchanged and it seems to function normally.
Please note that as per the instructions on the firmware download site you have to run the upgrade routine twice if going from 1.** to 2.03. The first run upgrades the boot sector the second time does the firmware itself. I didn't RTFM first and was puzzled when it prompted me to run it a second time.
-
It did the same when going from 1.74 to 2.0. Puzzled me as well, but all worked out flawlessly!
-
I can't wait for you guys to test 2.X some more ;)
-
Just got my 702 yesterday. it came loaded with 2.0 and has the "2.0 ready" sticker on the back..
need to test it out this weekend!

I recorded Panic last night at IU in Bloomington, IN using v.2.03. I have just finished mastering the recording and everything turned out really nice. My raw 24/94 files were 5.09 GB and they transfered in 14 minutes. Not bad, previous versions would usually run around 27 minutes.

Brian, just an FYI, but once going from any 1.7x versions or below, you have to update the 722/44 twice, once to get it to version 2.0 and then to make sure its set at the right 2.x firmware
