Title: What location to choose ?¿?¿

Hi tapers, recently I bought a dpa terminated in 1/8" and I'm new into the omnis world. My experiences always has been with cards (first cmc-2 and now with cmc-8)

I'll go to a concert in a theatre (3000 locations)  and I managing three possible locations. The blue square are the SBD position if I don't remember wrong

Option 1: 10 row centered

Option 2: are how to mini tribunes for 8 persons

Option 3: rear the SBD

What would be the best location?


I will use the dpas (HRTF onto my glasses)  with homemade bb especialy tuned for these mikes and with R1 how recorder

running omni's, I'd try to get as far upfront as possible (well, within reason), unless you have the option in 2 or 3 to elevate the mics a bit to get away from the crowd noise.  I've pulled some nice recordings using omni's from back by the board, but I was lucky enough to be elevated a bit with no talkers around me.
