Title: flac frontend 24/96 problem
Post by: panther65 on November 11, 2006, 05:06:34 PM
I did search the forums for this issue and found several threads. My problem is that when I take a tracked 24/96 file from CDWave and drag it into flacfrontend, ffe says "unsupported compression type 65534". I don't see anywhere in CDWave the checkbox to "save alternate 24bit version" in version 1.95. I tried saving as direct wav and as wav 24/96 without any luck.

I'm also using CD Wave v1.95
if you choose "direct WAV" then the little "use alternate 24-bit format" check box appears just below the "output mode" pulldown choices (where you chose Direct WAV)

Thanks, saw the checkbox now. However, frontend says it won't take anything beyond 44.1.

uncheck the 'align on sector boundaries' box and it will work hopeful;l;y
