Hey all, so I'm trying to keep my upload/download ratio up on a site. I'm getting great dl speeds, but it doesn't seem I'm uploading to others once the torrent is done (even though there are leechers). I was just wondering if there are any settings in utorrent to make it upload more efficiently? THANKS!

first off, swampy, i have best luck with this problem in utorrent when i stop the torrent and then press play to start it again. if thios doesnt work, i remove the torrent and open the torrent file again so it rechecks the torrent
and also, my utorrent on my connection gets picks when i am uploading more than one torrent, so i stop all other torrents and upload til i reach my 100% for that torrent, then i remove that torrent and start another d/l, i just like loading my torrents in utorrent and then quickly stopping them, that way i dont forget to start a particular torrent
I think the best way to keep a good ratio is to jump on a torrent early and stay on for a long time. If you leave your client on all of the time and keep them loaded up, you will eventually end up with a good ratio. There is no reason to delete them from the queue. That way you also end up seeding for people who show up late.
make sure you set you max upload speed to about 75% or so of your max UP capabilities - also enable as much encryption as possible
with some torrents i never seem to upload much - generally depends on the Seed:Leach ratio but I had a computer that would hardly eve upload anything - sometimes using the Initial Seeding (aka Super Seed) helps if you want to Up after you have completed downloading
