any idea if these work with the 460's with the appropriate adapter?

would anyone think the 460's would have trouble powering the RED caps in a similar fashion in the 460's problem with powering the CK4 caps?

you should probably ask this on Gearslutz. Seems like I remember a post from someone who was using RED caps with 460's in the not too distant past.

I have tried the Blue capsule with the AKG reduction ring on a modified 460B body. The 460 has a 10 gig ohm input impedance and feeder resistor unlike the 451/2 which is 1 gig ohm. The 40 volt Blue capsule will charge up in the 460B, but a CK-4 1" capsule will not. The sound was OK, another flavor of EQ capsule, but I prefer flat capsules regardless of the size. It also fits on the C-60/1 bodies for the Nuvistor tube sound.
