Title: Chaintech AV-710 / Foobar 2000

Does anyone know if Foobar 2000 v 0.9.4.2 is bit perfect with the Chaintech AV-710 soundacrd w/o having to use ASIO or Kernel Streaming, etc?  I remember reading somewhere you needed ASIO or Kernel Streaming to be truely bit perfect, and was wondering if the latest version corrects that.
