Have just purchased my first pair of DPA 4061's and I did get the recommendation to use them with a hrtf headband. It would be really nice if someone's got any ideas were to get one or have pictures of it as I've never seen one.
Have been searching the forums for pictures but didn't find any (just some dead links).
Thanks in advance!

i use a regular tennis headband for my 943's and i've sewn some elastic bands in a way it would create a DIN configuration. it's not supa stealth as i have a caucasian-fro and my hair gets really weird with the headband around it. but it will work for everyone else if it works for me.

I am also interesting in pics of headband mounts. My hair is really long now - and the trucker hat is looking old...

Here's one you don't see everyday!

Having searched and dug around, it appears that links to photos or diagrams have been broken (or perhaps chopped off) or the photos removed. Haven't found any google results for "HRTF headband" either. Anyone have links to pics or willing to email or ftp some files to me?
Thanks.

I'd like some help with HRTF band, please. I have been thinking about homebrew headband for a few days, I don't wear glasses and don't think I can get used to the peripheral vision thing. As if I didn't already look awkward enough in a club!
Thanks,
Joe

I have a pair of 853's with aligator clips on then. The SP model. I clip them up under the sides of a baseball cap, then my head acts as a baffle between the mics. The other method I have used in the past was to get a head band from one of those girly shops in the mall, the kind that hold long hair back. I just clip the mics to the band and put on my fat head. Works great.
