Title: mt battery crash

mt crashed at last show. charged  fresh full 6 hours charge done & full battery  indicated, get to show . battery shows no charge.set up 4 aa battery back-up. mt freezes during tapeing.i sent unit back to m-audio, mt replaced free of charge due to battery recall. pay attention. eyes!!!!! go to guysonic's post you only get what you pay for. real sled needed for real success. alway greatful eyesotw

But what did M-Audio say about the battery backup not working as it should have?

Can that internal battery be serviced/replaced by anyone or just by them?

Has anyone opened up their MT yet? I've love to have a look around inside mine... can't figure out how to go about opening the damn thing without making a real mess though
