Post by: gratefulphish on January 17, 2007, 02:45:01 PM: I invested a little more in one of these for long-term 12V power. Note that the Powerrunner at 12V is 4 Ah, and the batterygeek is 8.8 A. It also charges extremely quickly.

I'm liking the batterygeek 10-14-88 so far. It ran my portico for 3.5 hours and still showed >75% left on the indicator lights.

I ran an entire show, then I have played back on the deck for at least nine hours, and finally, the first of the four LEDs went off.

Yes, drawing 4 mA with the Milab's.

I picked up this battery to run my Portico, but am not sure which of the 20 adapters supplied I should use? Do you have a specific adapter that you use? Is there anthing specific I should look for with the adapter since several seem to "fit" the portico's power in?

yeah, none of them fit real tight. The one I'm using has a little J mark near the base of the plug.

Post by: Lil Kim Jong-Il on March 03, 2007, 12:11:42 PM: If you call or write neve designs and ask for it, they will send you a little restraining loop and a screw that fits the pim nuts on the back panel. That will secure the cable and keep pressure on the connector so that you don't have to worry about it getting pulled out in the field.

You can get a strap and screw at RS or home depot too.

Any chance of you setting up your rig and running the battery from fully charged to full discharged? I'm wondering how much total time you can get. The portico draws a consant 12W so that battery should last about 7hrs.

Until then I'm trying to figure out making a target rack to carry both the Portico and R-4 Pro. I was amazed at how large this R-4 is.... the portico looks to only be about 1/2" deeper than R-4. My Mountainsmith Quantum is proving to be a tight fit.
