Is anyone using U3 with a DAW, such as  Waves, Wavelab, SF, Audition?

Any comments on stability, performance, and overall experience?

Sounds like just the ticket to go mobile and back to the home gear without much hassle.

Those apps are likely a bit too hefty for portable computing...

That's all free, open-source, portable applications for any usb drive.
Audacity Portable is on the list...
