Title: Hard-sided case for gear? (and cutout foam Q)

I was in Game Stop today where they have a fairly small aluminium case designed for the Nintendo DS lite.  It looks JUST the right size for my gear, however they wouldn't let me open it to check out if it has that breakaway foam (like a camera case) and - DUMB POLICY OF THE CENTURY - if I bought it to go home and look at it, they then wouldn't let me return it <rolls eyes>

Anyway, does anybody know if you can buy that kind of foam somewhere? The case is just the right size, and I have a kid with a Nintendo who could use the accessories included....  If I can be sure to fit it out to secure my preamp, iriver and edirol, it would be awesome :)

I certainly wouldn't buy this from game stop, but, the manufacturer is Pelican according to the link.  Check out their web site.

This case might be a similar size to a lot of pistol cases I've seen -- try a hardware store, or even WalMart.
