Title: Firewire 410 vs. Presonus Firebox
Post by: kskreider on January 29, 2007, 06:12:41 PM
I have a f410 but am thinking about something new and different since the f410 doesn't play nicely with the new laptop PC I bought.

Any ideas on one versus the other?  Or any other suggestions?

I'd like to avoid the RME price range and it has to be an external.

I don't know but if you'd like to borrow my Firebox for a bit to try it out, I am sure it can be arranged.  I do need it for a Feb 8 gig though.

It works as a preamp but not A>D converter without a PC.  Digital output is only active if it's got a computer hooked up.

I'm sure we can work something out for a DQ or SC gig.
