Title: R09 and mics not needing amplification
Post by: 2amuse on January 30, 2007, 01:13:13 PM
Are there high quality mics for the R09 that use the internal power of the deck and do not need the extra box?  Appreciate some advice and recommendations.  Thanks Ray

Ensure that "Plug-in Power" is on, and you're off to the races.

Can you point out a specific mic?  That link leads to several different mics and more.  Thanks.

etc... those are omni directional if that is what you want, but its also got the preamp which is nice.

or on the soundpros website search for sp-cmc-2 sp-cmc-4 etc etc i think those have interchangeable cap options (omni, card, etc) i woudl reccomend using a battery box with those for louder shows etc. basically the more/better power you having going to the mics, the better they preform. it also reduces the distortion/clipping

pm "church audio" on this board and he can hook you up with what you need. hes putting some stuff together right now for me and i would recommend his services...

good luck dude
