Title: HELP: vxPocket users
Post by: phatDats4u on February 03, 2007, 11:40:28 AM
Taped JMp last night. It went well except for the plan to tape to the lappy, I couldn't get signal from the UA-5 coax out >:(. Any thoughts?

I have found that depending on the order things are patched and turned on I have to open the VX Control and switch from digital to analog and back to digital. This is done with the recording software open. That is of course assuming all of your internal routing on your laptop was proper. I assume you've done it at home?

yup, strange things happen when laptop taping sometimes.  Especially when running multiple channels.  Always check your routing, soundcard/interface settings.  If all still fails, reboot and start the process over.

+t for the headache

did you try downloading another driver from the digigram website? the only one that worked for me was the oldest one. also click on the digigram logo aon the tool bar and make sure that the card is set for digital in. the default is for analog in. i hope this helps, these were the things that i needed to change in order to get mine working. let me know how you make out.

Hey there good folks-it's a V2 card, and I've been having better luck since the JMP rochester show also.  I've found that adjusting the ASIo driver several times and a reboot will fix the problem. I hate mac's, but for this purpose they almost seem apealing after having windows freeze, shut down, etc.
