Title: Recorded 4 shows with a new Marantz 671 and each show has 1 error

Setup
AKG 480s CK1 > Marantz 671
I tried using both battery power and AC power
Here is what it sounds like, all 4 shows have 1 error that sounds exactly like this.
Could it be my CF card?

that's freakin weird.  never come across that on my rig before.  (we run the same rig)

really? I think it is something to do with the data being processed or written. sounds awful. good luck.

Yea I think I am going to try a different card. If that doesn't solve the issue, I will send my deck back to Oade. The strange part is the fact it only happens once on 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hour recording   ???

I was thinking power issue at first since the first 2 recordings I used AC power from front of house at the same club, and thought the power could have been dirty or had a voltage drop. Then I ran batteries and had the same issue.

Its frustrating  :-\

replaced PNY CF card with SanDisk 4GB

so far so good  :D

Most definitely the card.  had the same thing happened in one spot when I tried recording at 24/96.  worked fine at 24/48.
