Been playing with this software for a couple days and this is really good. Got signal generator and will take various measurements and plot. Really good stuff for those who care about room acoustics (which should be everyone!).

Looks cool only thing you need is a nice calibrated measurement mic and a preamp. Its not Smaart. But its Free. :)

Really easy to use! Using the Behringer ecm8000 and phantom power. picked up a cheap mobileusb pre so I don't have the analog section of the laptop to worry about. Ithink this is much easier and more infomative than simply using trueRTA (has these functions in it as well).
1. set input vol. just follow prompts
2. calibrate mic SPL. again just foolow prompts
3. click auto measurement

So I was able to calibrate the soundcard (which to my surprise was pretty flat) going headphone out to mic input. Was then able to find the calibration adjustment file for the ECM8000.
Room looks ok, but need to figure out some wife appoved corner bass traps. Here are som plots:

awesome. I was going to do this w/using the freq analysis in Audition, just to get an idea of where my peaks are, but this seems WAY better suited.
I assume I can run omni -> 702 -> line out -> line in on lappy (will borrow one from work). The only Omni mic I can easily get my hands on is a Studio Projects C4.. should work ok.... I hope.
but since I'm currently figuring a design for my sub, I'll wait until its done to do this.. garage project gets finished first, then I have room for sub project...
thanks for the link!
