Title: Anybody used an AT835ST for shows?

Hi all,
I have access to an AT835ST to do a FOH audience recording to later mix with a soundboard patch.  The console is elevated and about 40ft from the PA in the center of a decently large room with minimal reflections.  Would the AT835ST stereo shotgun-mic be a decent choice to do a recording with?  I will be running the mic source into a Tascam DAP1 DAT recorder.

I've never used one but I remember getting curious about this mic and searching archive.org for samples, it turned up a few shows.  Probably worth giving them a listen.
