Title: Transfer MiniDisc to other usable format? (.mp3?)
Post by: CQ_DX on February 21, 2007, 03:32:55 PM
Any suggestions on how to transfer Mini-Disc recordings to my PC and into a useable format for listening?  I don't need super sharp audio quality; if I can get it into .mp3 that would be good enough.

Help?

If you don't care about quality, run analogue out from your MD player > line in on your sound card.

If you don't care about quality but want to transfer quicker (i.e. over USB) buy a sony MZ-RH1 (read this thread for discussion on mz-rh1 transfer quality: http://taperssection.com/index.php/topic,76899.0.html)

If you want highest quality, get a MD deck with optical output.
