Title: WaveLab 5.0- Average Pitch
Post by: Albix714 on February 23, 2007, 09:29:45 AM
I'm wondering what to do with information that I'm finding when doing a "Global Analysis" of a WAV file in WaveLab 5.0.

In the Average Pitch window here are the stats of a recent 2496 transfer (WAV format):

-------------------------------
Left

1426.12 Hz (F5 +36 cents)

Right

1523.79 Hz (G5 -49 cents)
---------------------------------

This is telling me that the pich is off, so what can I do?

Could the transfer deck be playing too fast or too slow?

What could or should be used in WaveLab to correct the pitch?

[setup: Nak Deck > V3(@2496) > Audiophile 2496 > WaveLab 5.0 > 24 bit WAV]

Thanks, Alex

I wouldn't worry about it
