Title: bt.etree refusal help
Post by: georgeh on March 14, 2007, 07:05:59 PM
I screwed up a torrent on bt etree org    Mofro
i managed to do this twice. first extra line in text, redid it under anoter name, then i still managed to screw that one up, last flac was bad. OK i know slow down and i am an idiot.
Now i have finally corrected it and when i go to upload it says something along of lines of "refused by server" not just the usual faliuar and it will eventually work. It's told me twice now refused by sever.
Did i piss off the etree folks and they are not allowing me to scerw up for the forth time? if so, fare enough, but don't want to waste any momre time either
thanks

Might not be you. We're making some tweaks to bt.etree to get rid of some bogus traffic and in discussions with our host to fix things a bit. Try again in a bit, ok?

maybe just upload it to LMA and be done with it?  that's been my MO for the last few months -- if i a band can be archived, that's the first and only place i put it.  if they're taper-friendly but not LMA-able, it goes to a a torrent site or my FTP storage at tapers.org.

thanks, i gave it a rest and am trying to up load again. as far as LMA goes, the upload where  am right now is a bit dodgie, works fine for etree, and i have even more trouble doing LMA.  Not very cpu savy, although i keep plugging away at it. tos of old dats to convert and evetually upload lma/etree
