I'm curious what solutions people are using to power tube mics in the field. specifically mics like neumann km54 and akg c61.
I searched around the forum, but couldn't find any info. thanks for the help.

I think your going to need an inverter. That is the only way I know. Not to many people would be using them due to the external bias supply needed to power the tubes with. But I bet they would sound great.

My friend Sandy Alexander runs the km254 tubes in the field. He has a custom power supply with a bunch of funky batteries in series. they sound great but the batteries only last a few shows and are expensive to replace.
