i wpould think they are, but Ive never used one personally. thinking of borrowing my buddies tonite so I can run my AD Denecke AD20 pre. Cheap unit, but I love the sound it gives.

will I be able to easily upload from JB3>Mac???

And not USB 2 at that. So, it's slow, but it works fine.
