Since red and white R09s are for sale on ebay stores I´d like to know if the broken line-input was fixed by Roland with "new" devices lately?
Was it just an initial batch issue?

Since Roland doesn't think there is a problem to fix, I doubt it...

If that is what you prefer it is your option. I love my R09, never had a prob with the input jacks. If it was a HUGE problem, it would likely have been corrected... Just be careful with your jacks, it should be fine...

Same here. If I remember correctly, seemed like units purchased new last summer (June-July) had the most problems with the input jacks. I bought mine in Sept. 06 and it has served me well (so far).

They know by serial number. Mine was before "the fix". They turned it around in less than a week including shipping. I was impressed with the service and 'fessin' up to the issue. They also did some retrofit to the door. Not sure what it was but it works better now.
