Title: FLAC help - Run time error 75? Path/file access error?
Post by: NotSoBlüe on March 30, 2007, 11:14:14 PM
I hope this is the correct forum...
I cant get FLAC to work on my new computer which is running Vista. When I hit decode I get a 'run time error 75' and 'Path/File Access error'. I have no clue WTF is up.  So for now I am transferring my flac files on my iriver to my old computer and it works fine.  I'm assuming theres a setting somewhere in Vista that needs tweaked...?
 I just dont know.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!  Damn Vista.  ::)

this might work

Right click FLAC frontend.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode' and select Windows XP > Apply > Ok

edit: you can do the same thing for shn in mkw

There was a box that said 'run as an administrator' that I needed to check. Same place as the compatibility mode box. That did it.
