Title: AT8533, Samson PM4, Nady CBM 40T - Phantom power to Mini-xlr adaptors
Post by: Chuck on April 06, 2007, 05:28:49 PM
Can some one give me the run down on all these units?
It looks like they all convert 48v phantom power to ~6v - 9v DC to power electret microphones. And some, maybe all, output a balanced signal so you can run longer cables after the adaptor.
Are they all basically the same?
Do they run on two or three wire microphones interchangably?
I have a pair of Church cardioids (two wire) terminated in mini-xlr's that I plan to run with a couple CBM 40T's I just bought from Swampy. I hope it works...
